Simulation in Linux?

Hi Alun,

I use Kicad for the schematic and for the PCB.

I use gspiceui for the simulation and viewing the simulation.

You can test Kicad under linux or windows. Under windows I think you can use pspsice for the simulation as Kicad can generate a spice file.

On Mandriva LE 2005 i use x-circuit, it has a scruffy layout but it does do the job.
edit cus x-circuit is crap.
Scratch that i forgot to read the instructions.
Linux RULES, Windows DROOLS !

For Schematics and simulations, give a try to LTSpice. It is a very good full and free Spice simulator.  For download:

If you also want PCB prototyping, give a try to WinQCad. For download a demo version:

http://www.winqcad.com/download.html

Both programs run on Linux under Wine.

Thats sorta not the point its still winbloze software not linux.
has anyone bothered to look at x-circuit?
