Sony KP-46V15, has had intermittent blue haze overcome the screen
periodically - comes & goes - maybe part of my problem; otherwise
perfect picture – no shape, color or visible distortions of any
sort…..anyhoo stopped working.
Power up LED flash flash flash power down
Fuse F1602 gone
Replaced STK's (replaced STK392-010 with 020s)
Replaced Fuses
Re-soldered numerous heated connections
Re & re'd it – turned it on – (no signal connected) Yup. Got nice B &
W snow screen & beautiful pink noise. I'm a REPAIR GURU – woah now
that was WAY too easy & went WAY too smooth.
Put ‘er all back together, wheeled ‘er into her old spot, fired her
up……..
Power up LED flash flash flash power down
Fuse F1602 gone. Bummed right out.
What up?
Can a bad Blue CRT cause this?
Something else on the convergence board?
I'm now watching the Olympics on a hand held two inch Turbo Grafx
Express screen.
Anyone? Anyone?? Beuller? Beuller????
