Sony kv-20fv12 tv doesn't power up. Thoughts?

I bought the unit 3 (I think it was 3) years ago only for the sake o
watching videos when I ride my exercise bike. So the usage level i
very low compared to most tvs, probably less than an hour a day o
average. So I was very surprised when it failed to power up one da
after apparently working flawlessly up til I turned it off the da
before. (I've tried powering on with both the remote and regula
switches, and tested to make sure it was plugged into a live
functioning outlet).

I live on the 3rd floor of an old building without an elevator, so I'
not looking forward to the idea of lugging it downstairs, squeezing i
into my car, taking it to the shop, and then finding out that th
repair would be more than I can afford

Maybe the internal fuse? It might have popped from a power surge,or
something..

Of course,it's rarely that simple.

Try unplugging it for a few minutes.
