The Car NOT to Buy......
Yep. Video missing, so not sure what this thread was about.
But trust me, the car NOT to buy was either the 1980-anything Ford
Grenada (Grenade, for short), or the 1974 AMC Matador......

I am driving a GM rental this week because my car is in the shop
getting the sheetmetal put back to normal.
It is a 2007 car. There are rattles in the dashboard. When you press
down on the gas, it mails a letter to the engine computer about
perhaps making more power. They somehow made a ride that both has the
seasick wallowing effect and is choppy.
I've given up on using the parking brake because it appears that the
only way to release it is to put it in and out of park a couple of
times and then kick it.
Other than the above, it is a fine car.

I have a 1989 Plymouth Acclaim. Front-wheel drive. When you park on
a hill the transmission gets stuck in Park.
The owner's manual kind of acknowledges the problem. It says make
sure to apply the e-brake _before_ putting it in Park (fat lot of good
that does).

I had a '78 Granada. It was the best car I've owned. 140K miles,
14 years and the only thing I did to it was brakes, one clutch, and
a carburetor every month. Good thing the Carters were cheap.
The worst, by a *long* shot, car I've ever owned was a '70 AMC
Gremlin, the most appropriately named car in history.

An insult to crap. <no smiley>
It's all a matter of perspective. My brother had one that had a 350
Chevy engine in it that would do 2 foot or better wheel stands, and about
a ten second quarter mile. He traded that for a corvair that had a
corvette motor in the back seat. He traded that for a nice Moto Guzzi.
and what happens of if you get into a crash? does the sync screen alsompm said:I "traded" my 1974 AMC Matador for $90.
When I said "Will Sell this Weekend - Best Offer", I wasn't
kidding.
So Jim, a car with a Microsoft operating system....?
I can see it now:
"Steering wheel missing, turn right to continue..."
(... for those who remember the old DOS "press-F1" keyboard error
statments..."
