USB Hardware Lock

Hi to all,
I have made USB hardware lock using usb to UART converter, 89s2051 and some components. In which, when user opens the software in visual basic, the sw will check for the usb hardware lock. If there isn't the desired coded hw lock the program will automatically closed. But the problem is that anybody can see the passing data between rs232 and microcontroller using hyperterminal. Pls give me the solution.
