  1. I have to reply to my own request???? :o Ok, looks reasonable to and I am finding hardware to do go from USB to SPI serial and back again, will explore this direction for a while and see where it leads. I can't believe that 129 people read this and had nothing to say at all. Maybe that is a good thing, maybe it isn't. Thanks for at least reading
  2. Back again. Some sites exist with aps to show current handling on pcb traces, just a thought you could include something like that on your site. I can get you the links if you like. Remember, if everything were easy, then everyone would do it, and it would be valued less.
  3. Well, if this helps......What you have done looks great!!! Ya know only if you complete it will YOU feel better about your self. Most people won't have a clue how much work you put into it. You will get respect from those who do have an idea how much work you put into it, and it will be called GOOD. Keep up the good work, help others too. Push yourself. In the end you'll feel much better and also have something for a long time that you can point others too. Good luck, Keep it up.
  4. I have a weather station with a USB output to a computer. When connected to a laptop a program on the laptop transfers information from the station. I would like to simply remove the wired link, make it wireless to the laptop. I am not asking anyone to design the unit. I am skilled in PCB making (via Eagle), and electronics in general. Just asking if someone can help point me in the right direction. I have done some research and thought about going from USB to XBee then XBee to home network, suggestions welcome. Seriously would like to complete this project, again just not sure how to start. Much thanks in advance.
