pratik_tambe
Hi, I have made the ( 0-30V ) [0.002A - 3A] lab power supply, which is almost ready. However I am confused as regarding the connection of the step down transformer 230/24V ( of a Local make in India- VEGAKIT).There are 2 thick single stranded copper wires on one side, while at the other side are 2 multi stranded aluminium wires.Which terminals are primary and secondary respectively?Ill be soon posting photos for your kind reference on the successful completion of this project. ante
Hi pratik,Welcome to this forum. The thickest wires should be the secondary (24V) winding, but to be sure you can measure the resistance in both windings. The lowest resistance is the secondary (24V) winding.Looking forward to see those pictures! ;D
