Mukhalled
HiI have built this amplifierhttp://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.htmlIt works good actually and I thank you all for the support you gave me. :)Problem: when I connect it to my car stereo it sounds very very bad so how can it be used as a booster like they mentioned in the explanation in the link up? Maybe I've connected it in wrong way!?Please tell me how to connect this amp right :)Thank you and best wishes
audioguru
Hi Mukhalled,Your car radio probably already has an amp circuit like this project.Connections:1) The 4 ohm (full amp power) or 8 ohm (half amp power) speakers for this project must be disconnected from the original radio, and must not be connected to ground (the car's chassis).2) The input to the new amp project should be an unbalanced line output of the original radio, connected with a shielded cable. 3) If the input to the new amp project is fed from the original radio's speaker outputs then a two resistors attenuator should be used for each channel. 4) If the original radio has a BTL output for each speaker, only one speaker wire should be connected to the attenuator. The other speaker wire can be left disconnected.
