The + and - markings on the schematic are mis labeled. Breadboarding the circuit shows that it will work.MPEnd of Topic. Alun's improved circuit has been moved to a new topic. MP Posted April 2, 2005 Report Share Posted April 2, 2005 MOERATOR'S NOTE:The + and - markings have been fixed on the schematic on this site.The Bill of Materials now lists the IC as a comparator, not an op-amp.If you have built this circuit and used the bill of materials and pinout of the schematic, you would not have noticed anything wrong.
