audioguru
Hi Sachin,Welcome to our forum. ;DTo measure the RD of a zener, change the zener's current a measured amount a little above and below its operating current and measure the resulting voltage change across it caused by its dynamic resistance. Then use Ohm's Law to calculate the effective resistance.
sachingupta11
Hi audioguru, I know that the measurement of Dynamic resistance of diode can be calculated By checking its value at two different currents. But that value is not at all gets correlated any how to the actual way of measurement i.e. by superimpossing the AC signal of 1KHz.Can you please suggest me an exact way of calculating the value of dynamic resistance in DC mode.thanksSachin
audioguru
Simply modulate a current source and measure the voltage change across the zener diode.
