EshOck
I have a very basic question:Can a battery charger designed to operate on 60 Hz be operated on 50 Hz?How does this frequency change affects the electronic devices? Thanks ... ante
Hi EshOck,It depends on what kind of charger it is and which voltage you are using.
EshOck
It is an AA battery charger, made by radioshack, it says it should be operated at 120 V AC 60 Hz, I have 110 V AC 50 Hz. I know that the frequency will affect motors ... and also know that the impedance of the inductnaces and capacitances will vary with the frequency ... this is why i am asking if the variation of the frequency will affect the operation of the charger ...Thanks ....
