Crystal controlled fm bug - need help please

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a crystal controlled oscillator -110-130MHz for a very low power bug. I have a schematic (8 transistors !!!), not complete :( . 3 transistors for AF, 1 oscillator, 3 as doublers/triplers (I think) and one as "power output RF". I HAD a 3V bug, crystal controlled,  and tried to copy its schematic without much success, as the components were too much "overpopulated" on the PCB. It was about 15 years ago, and I have only an incompleted schematic, the part that interests me is corrupted (the oscillator). It was about the size of 2/3 of a matchbox. I'm trying to find CCO bug schematics, not PLLs (I have built several). I've tried to get help from various sources, including relevant forums, searcing engines etc. and it seems that no one knows (or want to share its knowledge)how to build it with discrete components. I think it has to work at the 3d overtone, as 110-130MHz crystals are very hard to find and very hard to modulate...as far as I know...
I think that for a "pro" is not too hard to find an idea how I may build such a device, but I've really tried to find any informations all over the searching engines more than 2 month....no way :(
I'll be very thankful for any help, and even ready to pay if needed.
TIA,
Nina
