Guest Alun Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 In light of this thread I need an op-amp that can be prowered from a single +40V power supply and be able to swing right down to 0V, the slew rate needs to be >5V/us. Quote
Guest Alun Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 The only one I've been able to find is the LT1498 but it sounds expensive. Quote
audioguru Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Hi Alun,High supply voltage, rail to rail inputs and output, fast. The LT1498 looks good for this application but costs $6.50US each at Digikey. You are also paying for its low noise. Maybe they throw away many noisier ones. Its details show that its output swings low to 30mV or less. Is that low enough? ???That's why our 0V-30V supply project uses an ordinary opamp with a negative supply. ;D Quote
