piertony Posted November 29, 2005 Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 Hello everyone,I am taking a digital fundementals class at my tech school and I took on a little side project to build a digital clock. I know this has been brought up before, but I need some help making the hours counter. I am only allowed to use 7400 series chips for the clock, specificlly the 7490 chips. So far I cascaded the divide by 10, and 6 chips to produce the seconds and minutes counters. I am stuck on the hours part. Does anyone have a schematic for the hours portion using 7400 series chips?
