ryanleung
Hello everybody,I want to make a analog multiplier to multiply two audio signals.
indulis
Try..........http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0%2C2877%2CAD633%2C00.html
ryanleung
May I design a analog multiplier circuit without AD633 IC? complex?
indulis
Yes you can. You need 2 log amplifiers feeding an "adder" and the output of the adder needs to be fed through an anti-log amp. But why "over think the plumbing"!!!!
audioguru
I made some simple audio scramblers and descramblers using a balanced modulator IC MC1496 for a wireless boardroom tele-conferencing system. It was suppressed carrier, single sideband and it inverted frequencies. High frequencies were low and low frequencies were high. The output sounded weird and completely unintelligible. The descrambler made it sound perfect. The datasheet is full of example circuits of multipliers:http://www.datasheetarchive.com/semiconductors/download.php?Datasheet=1323817
