Aan
Hi, does any one know types of commutating circuits for thyristor ? thanks.Regards.
ante
Hi Aan,Commutating thyristor circuits are used for a few different applications, for example electric vehicles and electric forklifts.
Aan
Hi Ante, Commutating circuit is used only in DC application of thyristor isn't it ?I want to collect all techniques of thyristor commutating circuits, can you help me ?Thanks and Regards. ante
Hi Aan,Have you tried Google? You will find some nice links there. Is this an educational assignment ?
Aan
Hi Ante, yes i have tried google and found some useful commutation circuits..Actually it's for my project, I want to build DC-DC converter with thyristor as the switch, so i needfind some commutation circuits..Do you know any interesting books to read on about how to interface thyristor inpower converter applications ?Thanks and Regards. ante
Yes, I believe the “Complex Behavior of Switching Power Converters” which is posted here at the community might be an option.
shobhitkukreti
i guess u were talkin bout line commutated thyristors Well commutating circuits r used for ac as well...if we want only a lil part of the phase to coduct to the load .. we wud need the commutation circuit.. wudnt we ??i guess u were talkin bout line commutated thyristors
Aan
Yes, I believe the “Complex Behavior of Switching Power Converters” which is posted here at the community might be an option.Yeah Ante I believe so..i guess u were talkin bout line commutated thyristors Well commutating circuits r used for ac as well...if we want only a lil part of the phase to coduct to the load .. we wud need the commutation circuit.. wudnt we ??i guess u were talkin bout line commutated thyristors Yes shobhitkukreti, we were talkin about line commutated thyristors specially for SCR device..Any ideas what book to read on ?
