KeepGood Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Hi guys.I've been given access to a fully functional Honda CBR 600 motorcyle to mess around with the electronics (just for the record, I'm allowed to break the bike :) ).While looking through the projects here I found this one in the 'Automotive' section.http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/automotive/008/index.htmlMy question is...Would this work on the above named motorbike? If not, does anyone know of circuit that would perform the same function? Thanks in advance peeps :) Quote
KeepGood Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 Thanks for your reply. :)I've just checked the bike and it uses a 12v battery. Although since my last post we've decided to sell the cbr and use a kawasaki ninja 900 as the test subject instead. It also uses a 12v batt. :)Cheers again Quote
ante Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 It will probably not work in any vehicle as is considering the note: Quote
Mia Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 I found a simpler circuit that the guy build and tested. I think it should work for 12V system as well. Instead of using a darlington, a pnp audio power transistor is used. Quote
