atticus726
hi i need someones help who understands how to find total resistance of a circuit. i attached the picture of the circuit. question is "what would be the resistance measured between point A and point B. R1=50 ohms, R2=25 ohms, R3=5 ohms.i am not sure if this is a parrallel circuit or a peries parallel circuit.
audioguru
Hi Atticus,Welcome to our forum. ;DI hope your teacher won't get mad at you for not doing your own homework.I think the resistors are connected like this:
atticus726
so then if they are all in parallel with each other then it would be 1 1________________ _____________________________1 1 1 = 1 2 10-- + -- + -- -- -- --50 25 5 50 50 50 1 ----- 13 = 50 ---- -- = 3.846 ohms total resistance? 50 13does this look right? audioguru
I think your answer is correct.Did you see that the resistors are in parallel?
