MrGrandDragon
Hi ;DI am currently undergoing an Electrical Engineering Course and for one of my criteria I have been assigned a project. I have decided to create a Thermal device with two LED lights (Red/Blue). Basically when the temperature in a room reaches above 25 Celsius the Red LED will on and when the temperature drops to below 10 Celsius the Blue LED will on. I have decided to utalise a Battery for my Energy source. Can you help and give me advice ???
Hero999
What level are you studying? This is pretty simple: use a comparator such as the LM393 and a temperature IC or thermistor.http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=comparator&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-ahttp://home.cogeco.ca/~rpaisley4/Comparators.htmlhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparator
MrGrandDragon
I am actually in my first year and this is my first Project task. Thank you so much for giving me components but is it possible for you to maybe elaborate more on how the circuit can be built with each component specified? My teacher was telling us about a Voltage divider and a Thermal resistor... ???
Hero999
Follow the links below my previous post, pay most attention to the second one and you should know enough to do it.If there's anything you don't understand, don't hesitate to ask.
