Hi
I've been a member of this forum for awhile, but this is my first post, so hopefully it's in the right place.  Also, I'm pretty much a newbie at electronics so I might be a little
confused at the answer to my questions.and need more help.  .I'm trying to do a power supply and I'm wondering if you can can use a 24 v 2 amp transformer for a 25.2 v 2 amp.  The urlfor the power supply I want to build is:

If I can do the exchange, is there anything else I will need to change?

Thanks
Jim

Yes you could but I think a 24V transformer is oversized.

The LM7805 has a maximum voltage rating of 35V but using a 24V transformer,  the rectifier voltage when the circuit is unloaded and the mains voltage is on the high side can be above 35V. I'd recommend using a 9V transformer with a 3300
