tom_supertramp
Hi everyone!,I'm a new member of the site. I currently have got a serious problem.I'm an electronic student yr3 in Viet Nam. In my University don't have many material related to design electric circuit. Just only a few slide prepared by lecturerer at classes. But the teachers' requirements are so high.So it makes me really confused about projects that they gives me. If any one has any materials regarding designing (how to determine value of resistor, capacitor, choose BJT ,etc) and analyzing circuit plsease do me a favour by sending Link(ebook) or name of book which is avaible for dowload. Many thanks for concerning Email removed by moderator.
tom_supertramp
Thanks George,I think I should post the titile of my project here then everyone can help me easier. My project is about design a dual power supply circuit +-12V 5A with over voltage protection. audioguru
You have a lecturer and a teacher. They have failed their jobs because they didn't teach you how to design your power supply assignment.Teachers and lecturers in most countries actually teach electronics to students so the assignments are done correctly, not just copied from somebody else.It sounds like you do not know the simple basics of electronics. After you learn the basics then you can learn how to design simple circuits. Then maybe later you can design your power supply.
Hero999
I'd use a nice chunky 200VA 15V-0-15V transformer, a 5A bridge rectifier, two monster 10,
tom_supertramp
Thanks all you guys, Your hints are very useful for me, I'm reading and combining them with some books I've collected to solve my project. In next few days, if any difficult issue occurs during designing time, I will still need your help^^.
