Joyce Taylor
Hello! I am the new person, anyone who knows is there any tool or process you would recommend that can take a standard stack of Gerber files (usually 2 layers, although the potential capability to support 4 layers would be better) and bring them all together into one set of Gerber files on a combined single panel for fabrication, for fab manufacturer where this required or economically attractive. I want to do this in a way that isn't labor intensive, doesn't corrupt or change the existing Gerber files, and takes Gerber files as its input, meaning it's independent of whatever EDA / CAD software is used by different people-Altium, Eagle, KiCad, whatever- as long as they are just able to generate and provide standard Gerber from their software. Thanks in advance!
admin
Hello and welcome to our community, You may want to try the PCB Panelizer & Gerber Tool Suite , the first here: https://www.electronics-lab.com/downloads/pcb I have myself tried it, but wasn't able to export correct Gerbers, so i am also looking for an alternative. Best Regards,
Beau Schwabe
With Eagle (5.11) I copy and give the .brd file another name. Open the new name file without the schematic associated to it and copy the array however i need to. The Dimension layer indicates the boundary.
