This is a combined TV/AM/FM unit, at least 25 years old. The "Tuning" knob doesn't work. Anyone have a fix for this or have any idea what a repair would cost? Thanks

Dream on.

$75 minimum.

Point is, do you still have terrestrial TV signals in your area any more? Most countries have (or are) changing to DIGITAL signals that those old TVs won't receive anyway.

Excellent point; I hadn't even thought of that. I'll have to check. Thanks

There's still a good market in retro equipment and Sony are a good enough make to keep interest and prices high if you want to sell it on.

eBay is one path to take (obviously) but your success can vary enormously depending on how and when you advertise it.

There are some 'antique' (or retro) equipment forums that could advise better on potential pricing but don't expect miracles - non-branded devices of this sort often sell for only a few $ but a decent condition (and yours being faulty doesn't help) 'may' get up to $50-$75. It varies a LOT over time - quite hit and miss on occasion.

I was after a similar one on the UK eBay site and gave up when it passed the £50 ($65) mark - don't know what it eventually sold for though.
