Thank you and thank you for your time, that would be good, but its ok for now, enjoy your evening and i will do some research over the weekend and try to understand opams and how they work, and maybe understand a bit better,

See attached OPAMP pinout sketch. The spot indicates pin 1 sometimes they will have a notch at the top instead.

is this because there duel, basically 2 amps in 1 IC, i did see some documentation where they were 4 in 1

I basically coppied the drawing, didnt take in to account there dual, doh !!!

Never mind. The first step is always the hardest.
Do you have any more veroboard and can you get the sockets off without damaging them?

Yes but, it might be easier to take all components of and start again.
The best way for you to attack it is draw a grid representing the hole and strips of your veroboard and then plan out component placement before mounting any bits.
