Looking good. You would be better off with strip board rather than the ones you have.

If you get really stuck with building the board, let me know and I will knock one up and mail it to you.

I would pay you to have a read up on how Operational Amplifiers work as it would also give you some understanding of how you power amp's work as well. They are not to dissimilar.

Did a little test today, i connected an audio input to the phono jack at the rear of the amp, then connected a speaker to the 0v and In--R, at connection 9, i did this for both chanels and i do get clear audio and the volume/gain on the front panel seems to work correctly, so i think the pre amp is working ok

On post #586 can't find the connections you are referring to. When making these references can you please include the sheet number and grid reference of the points you are referring to!

Looks about right. Which way round have you fitted your IC's. I can't see from the picture. Can you get a clear close up picture.

Hi, i have fitted the IC,s with the top to the cut out in the sockets, as in pin 1 top left, as for fitting everything into the box, i will first work out best positions and then look at insulating the board from the case , also @WHONOES , is there any issues if i remove the LED,s from the board and mount them remotely so i can have them visible through holes in the aluminium box ?
