Found a broker who'll supply some transistors I'm looking for.
The price seems extremely high. Does anybody know if these transistors are
really so rare that they're worth the price?
The guy wants $77 each for:
J2067 J2076 J2078 J2318

This is a very old post that I made. Just an update for anybody that might be interested:
The transistors went in a high-end test and measurement instrument. The price was so high
that the owner declined the repair in lieu of a new replacement instrument. So I never bought
those transistors.

Datasheets for the transistor is the first thing I looked up. I have to ask…what package style is it ? TO -92, 03 ,05, 220 What are the power of requirements? :)

Delta Prime, Hard to believe this old post is still of interest.
They were all TO-92. I was as in-shock at the price as the instrument owner was.
I suppose they were no longer made, so the broker believed he has gold in them there transistors.
(I would expect he's still sitting on them).

This entire site is old as in components, that’s why only old people respond me being an exception, but I’m getting there,…

I don't get much help anywhere, asking questions about old electronic components. I suspect that most of the guys who knew the
answers are gone now. Much like the usage of the parts I ask about. Sometimes it's depressing to realize how much of a dinosaur
I've become, AND that the tens of thousands of components I've accumulated over the years have become as useless as it appears I've become.
Young wiz-kids are in for a rude awakening when they get older and find out everything they're so knowledgeable in right now, will be
ancient history, and useless information, in their golden years.

Old age... what a nuisance!
Nobody gets out of here alive! but Taoists e.g. learn to simply step out of their bodies.
Of course that means the end of all their fascinating experiments with the Real...

Have you seen my copy of the Akhasic telephone directory? I thought I left it here...

That might have been about 2015... ?

Is this site about Eastern Mysticism or Electronics?

I have plenty of books and understanding of Mysticism but don't mix it up with electronics.
