    Thanks for that, nice circuit I can see whats going on now! I dont know why you would need a super capacitor, an electrolytic can fill a time gap up like that as well.

    If the peripherals have their own tolerances and regulation maybe u dont need what I said anyway. I do things from scratch, its a bit different working with the industry standard I know. Its why I have a hard time chiming in with something useful. =)

    What I can see here->> If you convert from dc to ac and back again, you can limit the current with a capacitor, (thats when the car isnt cranked - because then ud have too much power to the peripherals.)

    Doesn't matter if you short a transformer or a capacitor as far as I know, not that I know exactly what's in the thing. But the power supply screen went blank when i was running it, I dont know what happened there. circled the approximate distance.

    Thankyou Bertus for the nice information as always. But I doubt it, because its not sparking very far, I could make a video to show you, but its only a tiny dot spark its making. But... I guess maybe it actually is in the thousands at least, its hard to say. yes, u might be right THANKYOU!

    I checked the volts on it, its 586 volts, no matter what the input volts is. they put 50,000 volts on the advertisement tho, absolute bullshit.

    Well I can test it out anytime now, because I've got my high voltage supply going, Ill get back to you what happens, I just have to get the guts to do it, If I use it in combination with capacitors they could quench it when they finish charging or discharging.

    So I just thought of the fact that spark gap oscillators dump the whole capacitor only when the very tip of the capacitor has exceeded the voltage distance, and then the rest of the capacitor follows suit. So doesnt that mean u could initiate a collecter and emitter with a high voltage base...
