    Who's right and who's wrong?

poly fuses, thermistors, MOV etc.. do control the current and are current limited....

    Who's right and who's wrong?

a fuse is a switch as well, it's fully on or it's fully off, there's no current regulation

    Who's right and who's wrong?

a current limiter reduces the current a switch switches it on and off since it has no current regulation it's a switch ;)

    Who's right and who's wrong?

but they don't limit current in the sense that a current limiter does, if over current occurs the fet go off, current isn't reduced same goes for charging it, you decide current draw just don't exceed the bms rating... how else do I get decide to charge at 5amps or 10amps with my lifepo4 (with...

    The observer effect

". It was not the observer, but the act of observing and the effect of that" the act of observing, is the observer

    The observer effect

but yes, if there's nothing conscious to observe it, eg a squirrel a bug... it won't exist to be heard or seen

did you watch the video? lol

    The observer effect

does this imply we are all simulated? if nothing is conscious and observing an object, just like in a computer game to save cpu clock cycles, simply don't render the object, you only render what you look at and nothing else... if you're looking in front of you and nobody else is in the room as...

    no, that's a switch...

    Who's right and who's wrong?

I disagree, I can't find a single bms that current limits, it only cuts it off it exceeds the max current rating if a cell approaches fully charged, it switches off that cell, there's no mention of the bms taking care of the current limiter... if it did, people wouldn't buy specific chargers...

How would you go about testing this port without its adapter?

no you risk shorting it, opening it is the safest option or just buy the multi adapter tool thingy off of places like ebay

Automatic switching on of arduino with two different sources using mosfets

I'll be honest I'm confused but what's new... if you have 2 voltage sources with the same voltage, I would just wire up the outputs like this

Who Here is into Arduino & Raspberry Pi. Are You Also Serious About Electronics?

How about looking at this from a different aspect, is discrete circuitry and how it works crucial in your job if all you do is knock out firmware and control the odd button and led and even that makes you learn how to protect the io pin by limiting it with a resistor, voltage drops have to be...

    Who's right and who's wrong?

before looking at the screenshot... does a BMS control/regulate current when cells are stacked in series?

2-way mic switch with LED channel indicators

why didn't I think of that
  18. C

2-way mic switch with LED channel indicators

emi suppression, pass it through a capacitor use a choke etc, a cleaner way would be to use a multiplayer IC chip like the cd4051be

    Faulty Electronics and Ethical Practices

10 to 20 years ago, people threw out their broken electronics as once it stopped working it was too pricey to fix it was worth the extra for a brand new... now people want $$$ for their broken crap because they're under the assumption everyone can repair it and only they, can't... if the...
