2-way mic switch with LED channel indicators

it's just a dpdt switch, no power required and you wish to switch audio from the input to one of the 2 outputs?

what kind of switch do I need

anyway to be sure... the button is configured to always supply a voltage divider so it will always be 1 or the other, in other words it never floats, I just confirmed it with an oscilloscope

oh and I disabled the IR output because it blurs the image reflecting off the window, so it can not be that

    I think I got abducted...

that's fine however the onboard microphone doesn't make a sound when that happens .. turn up the volume, there's some kind if signal in the light beam, and the intensity of light stops outside my bedroom window, nobody elses... does IR light levels make the onboard microphone produce a sound...

what kind of switch do I need

the input voltage is only a couple of volts higher at 16v as the voltage spikes to 16v the constant current part limits the current to 10amps and the voltage should drop until the button clicks into position

Ok I'm talking to people who design and build electronics so there for you are smart and can explain things the average person can not .. I have a UPS and when the power goes out you can hear the relay Clunk as the magnetic field collapses and the the inverter kicks in, I also have a security...

what kind of switch do I need

that was the problem I couldn't give you one as I hadn't yet worked out how lol after going away and building it, I can now give you a schematic, up until that point I wasn't sure hence my question.... can't give you something neither of us knew how to do if you're interested I'll build you...

what kind of switch do I need

after probing around, the voltage divider is from the regulator output voltage through the pot and to ground through a 1k resistor it's a 200 watt regulator and I have 1 spare, I'm working on the spare and when done I'll swap them over, having two regulators is a pain in the ass as you would...

what kind of switch do I need

I want to use a switch to control a voltage regulator output voltage by using 2 100k pots, what's the best way of switching between the 2 pots to output the 2 selectable voltage? (I lifted the pot off the regulator already)& would a dpdt be up to the job or do I need extra circuitry? thanks....

    12 Volt Proximity Kill Switch

Yeah the simple option would be rope and a hall effect sensor, the alternative is some kind of very short range radio transmitter/ receiver and the second the signal is lost, the motor cuts out, I've never purposely attenuated a signal to do this kind of job though

Charging Lithium Battery Pack without Charger

if she ran over the AC end, any DC power supply at 20v would do as you can determine the + and - cables via the PCB connect up your lab supply and the weed eater pack will charge the batteries... unless I am completely missing something?

Simple door bell (not wireless). New door bell light works, sound doesn't

you got me at reversing the wires... how? no matter what you do they touch, that's what a button does it bridges the two wires to allow current to flow now obviously the first button went dead for some reason and when you short the wires something happens in another room, that's where your...

    Faulty LED driver (BREL-2D-36T)

it's a high frequency transformer so best to use a schottky diode or you risk it acting like a resistor what blew it up, my guess would be an inductive voltage spike from the inductor maybe? check the transistor for a short while you're at it...

SMPS feedback compensation with error amp simpler than type 1?

of course it has to be completely on or off in a duty cycle or it wouldn't be a duty cycle, I'm talking 70k times a second with a comparator, and again depends on what IC we are talking about, for example feeding 3v via the feed back pin of an lm2596, so while granted it's never truly off, we...

Can anyone explain how this battery charger works?

try measuring the resistance before when cool then switch off and measure again probably limits the current when hot
