    I know what the amps are that are being used but what I don't know is how many amps your step down is rated for. 2, 20 watt bulbs will draw 1.7 x 2 = 3.4 amps. Is the step down output listed on the case, wattage or amperage?

    I'll hunt for a data sheet, they are readily available on ebay but they just list the voltage as 12 volts DC.
