    COVID-19

Been relatively lucky here in Qld. Was expecting the grand daughter to come over from Palmerston just before recent outbreak. Like many, just waiting for improvements to kick in. Had both my Astra shots, wife still waiting for her first Pfizer. Supposed to be next week, still, need to keep...

    Test and Tag???

Maybe simply give all those emergency personell a neon test screwdriver....pop your finger one end...poke the other on the vehicle. That'll cover if they are electric or if they knock down any power poles.:)

    Ultrasonic sensor cable length

How about a plastic tube run to the tank with a pressure switch and all your electronics inside and isolated from those interference prone utilities.

    what is this ic

Manufacturers do that for a reason........ Reason is so you don't know ...plus elcheapo manufacture.

    Ultrasonic sensor cable length

Usually a good move to inform people of things like this in the beginning. Otherwise it sounds like you are making it up as you go. As for probes, electrolysis is a problem. There are ways to overcome it but you will need to do some footwork to find solutions. A float with a string wrapped...

    Test and Tag???

I too, have had experience with scene appraisal in electrical rescue training but my point is still the same. Well and good for your "first aid course", but this is a small blue tag applied to the number plate, not rather obvious power lines stretched to billio......I'm guessing the applied...

Using Step-Up Boost Converter To Boost LITHIUM IRON PHOSPHATE BATTERY Battery To 12 Volts

Most or rather, all of these boost converters have a minimum voltage input. As LiPo4 can go as low as 2v0 , most boost converters would be out of their minimum range. Even at 3v2 same same. Also what protection do you plan using to limit the voltage to it's recomended minimum level discharge...

    Radio Daze

Don't think you'll find much CB stuff these days being used...... Ham radio maybe ...best bet would be do a search on some of the forums and see how many are still active. They tend to be a bit like vintage car collectors though, if you have to ask how much then you probably can't afford it...

Nrf24l01+pa+lna will work over that distance. Possibly even the NRF24L01.......

    Test and Tag???

Seems the nobs in Queensland Transport have come up with the "brilliant" idea that all electric cars should have a small blue "tag" fitted to their number plate warning of possible electrocution in event of a crash. I'm no emergency service expert, but I'd imagine running around a crash scene...

    Need help repairing Microwave oven

Just a note on the video.....I would not recommend any type of live testing especially since the Op has identified his electrical knowledge as zero.

Need Help on Cord repair...How can this be?

Exactly, they are insulated by an enamelled coating, well enamelled in the old days, perhaps some form of epoxy now-a-days. Look at how coils for motor windings are formed to get your head around the concept.

Need Help on Cord repair...How can this be?

In the cable I can see at least 8 cores, each may or may not be independant, in any case you have cut the lead and have no idea which core goes where. Pretty much your own worst enemy in this instance.

Need Help on Cord repair...How can this be?

Doubt very much it would be a short, more likely an open circuit. (break in the cabling) The cable is commonly known as "enamelled copper wire" or in some parts "winding wire" used in motor windings etc. You've open a real pandoras box cutting the lead as it would have been waterproofed and...
