    Panasonic DMR-ES15 - Please Wait !!

Previous answer was as I was only going on what I could find with the info given but thanks to the extra model detail I did find a reference to it not being a malfunction but rather the unit is in recovery mode ( whatever that means)...

    Panasonic DMR-ES15 - Please Wait !!

Do you have any test gear to test the power supply voltages? Several Google searches suggest bad caps and one result returned that , to quote them...... The "Please Wait" message is caused by the hard drive not spinning up. Supply the model number, as it can help with a circuit diagram.

UV water purification - health risks?

Assumption is correct. Seen many of these units mainly in outback or remote areas of Aus and also common use in homes in Thailand. Example of just one of the many housings below.

    Isolation Transformer?

There are ways to do this and many in Thailand get it wrong. Thailand is an MEN earthing system but very few ever install it correctly which is why there are problems. Chucking an earth rod in the ground and connecting everything to it in a higldy pigldy fashion is not the answer. So next best...

    Isolation Transformer?

No idea what this is supposed to mean. Why not simply use what in Thailand they call a "safety cut".??

    Isolation Transformer?

As far as the transformer is concerned, more than likely exactly the same. One difference could be the weight of these mothers. Another would be the cost involved. Couple of different sizes, I think it was 3.6kva,4.8kva and 7.2kva. I was referring to the monitoring used in conjunction with the...

    Isolation Transformer?

Probably because they are rarely used these day, the exception being operating rooms but they are rather different from the everyday one to one units from the past. Safety cut, safety switch, earth leakage circuit breakers, all the same thing, are the normal piece of gear these days. Usual to...

    Relay with small in size

That could be difficult to achieve given one has to consider the physical constraints when operating at mains potential.

    Which photo sensor for replacement?

If you do not know the difference and you are about to play with mains voltage, probably the best to leave it to an electrician before you do some damage. To yourself or others as well as any associated equipment involved. To answer the question though, there are 2 units available. One operates...

Control alternator voltage back to 6vlt battery?

You supplied the diagram, not me. The diagram does not show what you quote so I suspect it is the wrong diagram completely. I have noted in the past that US , Europe and Pacific models are different. Doesn't change the fact that the bulbs and the resistor are the regulators. Have you checked...

    Please explain this resistance reading

Another good example of when an apparent "short " is not as shown on a multimeter is the windings on an smps transformer. In this instance , because of the frequency, inductive reactance is the current limit.

Control alternator voltage back to 6vlt battery?

Battery not required as it has a magneto providing both the supply for and the pulse coil for the CDI.

Control alternator voltage back to 6vlt battery?

I'm certain I have commented on this schematic previously regar I'm certain I have commented on this schematic previously regards the same question. Answer then was the same as now. The daytime running with the headlights off is regulated by the daytime running light. If the system has been...

    Please explain this resistance reading

It is like most things , there is a time and place for certain things. Diode test is not the be-all end-all as you seem to think. There are times when the resistance ranges suit better. This is also the reason some multimeters have ranges, yours is auto-ranging by the look of it. Primary...
