    Wouldn't have a spec sheet or link to where you bought the valve? Just that 4.0W @ 12V is more like 330mA not 29mA as shown on the coil. It could be the 4.0w is the pull-in power requirement and 29mA holding current. As far as small and lightweight power unit one could not go past a 3 cell LiPo...

    Baaaad idea if the unit is double insulated. Look for any sign of double insulated logo on the label. One square inside another square. Far better to make certain the circuit you are operating the device on, has an earth leakage breaker(safety cut, safety switch...all the same) Failing that...

    Cheap jack gear. Actually on portable equipment run on a flex and plug should have double pole switching. i.e. active and neutral both.

    Panasonic DMR-ES15 - Please Wait !!

    If you do decide to poke around in there, to begin with make sure it is completely tuned off and discharge that rather big cap near the VEP71109 label with a 1K5 ohm 2w resistor, they REALLY bite.
