newbe help with schematic to breadboard

I did not trace it out but one point, get yourself some dupont jumper cables from Ebay. They come in a variety of lengths and types i,e, male each end, female each end or male one end female the other. Using cable too large for the breadboard will eventually open up the contact underneath and...

Good one and thanks for reporting back your findings.

    plastics electronics crack

Appears to be some type of mounting , no "glue" that will fix that successfully. Only option I can see would be to use longer self tapping screws of the same gauge.

newbe help with schematic to breadboard

If you go to "talkingelectronics" web site, there are many circuits there for beginners including I believe your requirements. Link below will take you to the "interactive" section and scroll down the left side menus to a yellow section "traffic lights". These open up in to more and more...

Help select suitable Mosfet for driving relay.

You can, many do. However it's not to stop any current flow back into the micro. It is to limit the micro pin current. I think the usual value is around 120 ohm.

A sensor to identify 3 different shapes

Two sensors in a clamp arrangement, bit like a set of calipers with a sensor on each side, probably at the hinge point. Rotate either the clamp while holding the object firm or visa versa. Rotation would have to be both latitude and longtitude. Rotation would not have to be much at all, could be...

newbe help with schematic to breadboard

Forget the circuit you posted for the moment and concentrate on how to use the breadboard according to a "simple" diagram. Jumping in the deep end so-to-speak is never a good idea. Start simple with battery, LED and a resistor and work your way up. Many youtube tutorials are available...

Yes, I've seen that response previously but quite obviously I simply do not have the time to waste. Too many other things on the go.

    CB/ballast on a OTTlite

Amazon has a complete new light for $25.00 and tubes for $13.00. Chances are if you do manage to get the board up and going that the tube will be blown as well. Not really an economic result. https://www.amazon.com/OttLite-326003-13-watt-SlimLine-White/dp/B004Q0CUXA

    Possible switch overload?

As #2 says, you cannot switch the LED's with a spst switch as they have 2 independant drivePerhaps you have worded it incorrectly as if you were to switch the power to the two 12v "drivers" then that would be ok. Edit:- ah yes, didn't see the link to the HV drivers, sorry. Op, the best way to...

    online pcb manufacture preferences

Usually knock out my own pcb's but decided it may be time to join the current trend and look at online arrangements. Spent the last couple of days familiarising myself with EasyEDA schematic and pcb software and I am about to place an order. This is a free utility where one can generate the...

1000 watt zvs induction coil drawing too much when I put a crucible in it.

I'd suggest you look at a few more videos on youtube regarding the use of induction heaters with graphite crucible, especially the power requirements involved.

    Off grid house lighting

So you charge at 5 Amp but drain at 5.25A for 6 or 7 hours. Sooner or later, even at idea conditions, you loose. In the UK especially, I would be surprised if you get 4 to 5 hours peak usable output every day from the solar panel so you will have to work out a percentage there also.
