    Servo Tester Issue

Yes, well, it IS a $7.00 servo after all. For future reference, one does not alter the pot. Merely check that at the full range of the mechanical stops allows 180 degrees. The travel is taken care of by extending the signal mS range slightly. Depends on what your application is exactly. As...

    Servo Tester Issue

You will find 99.9% of servos are designed for 60 degrees each way. Reason for the travel is down to 2 facts. The signal range is from 1mS to 2mS and the internal feedback pot mostly has some form of mechanical stopper to protect the innards. Both can be overcome by careful (sometimes) modding...

    Panasonic SA-PT670 no power

Probably electrolytic caps gone bad. Place here I contacted and he sold me 1 copy for the model I needed for $4.95. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Panasonic-service-manuals-owners-manuals-and-schematics-on-7-dvd-pdf-and-RAR/264068128005?hash=item3d7bafdd05:g:kb4AAOSw3ydVy0pR:rk:5:pf:0 Downloads...

    Servo Tester Issue

The servo will at times draw nearer to 1 amp. The above suggestion was to eliminate the obvious and work your way back.(if you must but be warned it will return to bite you)

    Servo Tester Issue

Chuck the power module, same with the breadboard and connect 4 x 1.5v AA cells into the tester. Neither of the 2 dumped items were ever designed to run servos.

MISSING POWER SUPPLY FOR LCD STRIP LIGHT

More than likely a proprietary item. As you don't have the power supply as well, probably try to trace parts from any detail on the lamp. Chances are there are more than 2 supply voltages there and maybe even 1 control.

    RC - Long range

Get a long range Tx Rx setup. Most of the "car" or "quad" radios are only intended for a short range on purpose. One can get , as an example, a Flysky Tx and Rx with range over 2klm in the air for around Aus$60.00 delivered...

That with the dreaded "buffer underrun"...made way more beer coasters than cd's back then.

    Self-Burnt CD problem

Burnt cd's are different from original cd's in the way they are produced and some players were never designed to play the "home burnt" versions.

KLH R3100 stereo receiver volume won't adjust

I'd be taking a wild punt and say it has nothing to do with encoder or the big fat 30 pin processor chip and more to do with amp signal input somewhere, perhaps even common power supply problems. Thing is it is cheap to begin with so how far does one go really.

    Retrofit house with LEDs

As I said above, it would be in your best interest as far as lamp life and possibly any warranty, to ensure the correct driver is used with the LEDs. I have seen even late model LEDs fitted to electronic LED driver units that are highly incompatible. As you have not supplied any info there...

    Retrofit house with LEDs

Economy would be in a matter of cents per year, more important would be that "some" or rather "most" mr16 led bulbs require the appropriate driver for correct operation and advertised lifespan. Most electricians will know this and supply the correct matching equipment. Hardware stores in...

How to fix broken headphones cable by rewiring?

Seeing as the conductor is wrapped around a type of cotton core, I would tend to go more for tinsel flex. (aluminium conductor) If you have a multimeter you could confirm this with a continuity test from one end of each conductor to the other end assuming you can get access to the other end.
