Security camera hard wired and DVR

As far as I am aware, there is no tilt. Pan and zoom are taken care of within the camera hardware/software. i.e. no mechanical movement. Even then, it is rather restricted.

Anyone know of any microcontrollers which can communicate via radio?

It is a fact that the quads carry several uC's for differing operations, not just one. Here is a link to one quad build using, not stand-alone uC's BUT a series of ready made modular boards. Be aware your requirement for long range is a feature not normally required or allowed by law in most...

Unable to get solenoid controlled by Arduino to work anymore

Never seen a goyen valve that allows water control with zero pressure, it's basically against the working principle of the thing. Apart from that, I would have thought if you had followed the instructions on the linked site that it should work as expected. Trying to decipher just what you have...

Anyone know of any microcontrollers which can communicate via radio?

I hear this sooo many times and really wonder if the realisation as to the amount of technology and know-how that is packed into these things is given a moments thought. Have no idea how you think you can improve these designs without having even an inkling of what is involved. There are kits...

    Make an Oscilloscope?

One can buy a small handheld scope kit for less than $30.00 on Ebay etc as long as one recognises there are limitations. If you want something that feeds into a pc then try one of the many pc scope software around. Again with limits. This is just one of the many... https://www.zeitnitz.eu/scope_en

40 Amp Block Diode Cathode to Stud 12 Volt Tech help needed

A diode will only block when the voltage on one side (cathode) is higher than the other(anode) usually by 0.7v for silicon. Cannot see how you have wired the negative of the dinghy winch circuit. or indeed any charging arrangement. Your perception of current rating of the cable might be in the...

40 Amp Block Diode Cathode to Stud 12 Volt Tech help needed

Would be much better if you were to draw put a sketch of what you have and what is connected to what and how. Many times translation of words into a diagram get mixed messages.

    Air compressor slowing/stopping under load

If you run it on any extension lead you will get voltage drop which is classic of your symptoms. As supplied the compressor would have a 15A lead at least and more than likely, at most, around 2 metres long. Socket outlet and the in-house cabling will need to be able to sustain the voltage...

    Programming languages and MC selection.

If you go to their web site and click on an example like the $5.00 rhs, it will open another window with options for delivery. China post seems the cheapest ( to Aus at least) but usually takes longer also.

Identify blown IC without circuit diagram

Yes, did see that but when one considers the damage to the chip, do you really think the bug bits would still be there in any way shape or form? Have yet to see a bug that can conduct that amount of fault current.

    Programming languages and MC selection.

You can still make your own boards and have a set of sockets with an Arduino promini plugged in and make life much simpler and get on with more important things in your project. Maybe it's me but I really can't see the point.
