    Kumar, If you have the space on the circuit board around the IC you can make your own heatsink. A piece of aluminium fin as large as possible and just glue it with a minimum of epoxy glue to the top of the IC. 32Volts should work according to the datasheet.

    Kumar, The IC is capable of 1.25A per phase and will run hot, but there is a thermal shutdown to protect it. If you have problems with thermal shutdown try to put a heatsink on the IC. What are your motor ratings?
