    Replace the existing relay with a DPDT, the other set of contacts will provide the short across the motor. when it is de-energized.

    Why do you show the bridge with two -ve terminals? The original apears to have the standard four? 2 for AC and -ve and +ve? You shouldn't need a resistor?

    Honeywell have a line of small proximity sensors SS400 series, they require a small button magnet, if going with this, then you should probably fit two magnets at 180deg to retain balance. Retained by epoxy?

    You may not need a sinusoidal, just an AC drive/amp that offers reversal to produce the required RPM, could be a square wave provided by simple Mosfet switcher/drive. Just as long as polarity reversal occurs.

    The notation has Chinese method of labeling. If the device 8 pin ID has been removed, not much chance of ID'ing it, unless some reverse engineering could be done, for the circuit itself.

    Incidentally Brushless motors come in two flavours, BLDC and 3ph AC, both identical in construction, but the commutation and power applied is completely different.

    I use only metric where possible, with M2 being the smallest, I don't think they come any smaller than m1.6. Most of the world is Metric now.
