    All the equipment of Japanese origin I have used generally specify ±10%. You could either take a chance, or use a small buck/boost transformer for that size of motor. If you post details of a PC might be possible to detect the nature of the motor. How is the connection shown for the 4 pins? M.

    Wire a mag drill motor

    The mag drill is a Universal motor, the motor would normally have two leads. or possibly four if it is normally reversible. Identify the commutator and the fields they should all be wired in series, if no need for reverse then they can be left permanently connected in series. M.

    In a a case like this I have always used the values such as I suggested 390 to 475 ohm. Keep it somewhat under the 50ma. M.

    The 50ma is the absolute maximum, I would normally go with around 25ma to play it safe and this should fall within the operating range. Using 12v for the operating voltage would need a 390 to 475 ohm resistor. M.

    There is only one Electronics store here, but to drive across the city and the time & gas it takes, I just order from DigiKey, delivery is only $8.00 and at my door the next day air, no brokerage etc. M.
