    Who soldered the red and black wires on the bottom rows?. I think you need to check which connections are positive and negative before bridging anything. If I were doing this, I’d open the battery to make sure.

    Hi, is it definitely a FPC and not a FFC?. Are there any components on the cable or do any of the traces overlap?. Depending on the pitch, you may find one in a broken printer.. But you can buy them. You have to know the pitch though. This is of course, if it’s a FFC.
