    In that image you can't see the offset of the magnets it was just to show that the magnets north poles are facing one way. thought it might confuse things when I posted it the magnets are offset and out of phase 120 degrees

    what I meant is that the ones on the back would be in parallel and the ones on the front will be in parallel but the ones on the back and front would not be in parallel

    the coils on the back are influenced at the same time as are the ones on the front are influenced at the same time but the ones on the back will not be parallelled with the ones on the front!

    so I have a spare flywheel and just bought some new magnets going to try a different configuration next time and put the magnets all in phase so that I can parallel the coils but not giving up on this wheel just yet!
