    help with IR2110 chips

here is a few pictures on the screen in yellow reads RPM 525 machine vibrates a bit! pic1 and pic2 shows something unrelated theTL074 the mic, preamp and amp with a reference ground pic3 show me tinning a wire pic4 5 6 7working on the bar graph displays again unrelated pic8 is the display for...

N52 Neo's 25mm x 4mm coils made by me till I got bored of turning took pictures but not as many as I wanted getting those pics off of the camera later on about 1 hour when I rebuild out of more robust parts will be gettting pre-wound coils got some dodgy arduino's too here they are...

    help with IR2110 chips

I'm taking readings of the raw ac out put for each of the coils later today and am going to try build the circuit as accurate as possible to the machine

    help with IR2110 chips

there are four coils on the machine that I have made all have there own ac voltage, I put them through a bridge rectifier and put a 16000uF capacitor bank across the output and it's rated at 100volts in the image below is the setup of the coil and magnet arrangment the wheel spins at 550RPM so...

    help with IR2110 chips

Mr Bertus so back to that question. if I connect the 55v to the inverter which has 50usec dead time and so it's basically on all the time and then put the output of the inverter throgh the transformer that I have, will the caps deplete very quickly because the coil on the primary has a low...

    help with IR2110 chips

    nevermind found 40:230

    help with IR2110 chips

so I've found a 36:230 transformer could this be used?

    help with IR2110 chips

yes I get that! can you recommend where to get one?? thanks having trouble finding one!

    help with IR2110 chips

and also where can I buy one of the transformers at 5.8:1 ratio please?

    help with IR2110 chips

oh ok can you tell me why? might be being really stupid can you explain step by step please?

    help with IR2110 chips

    320 / 39 = 1:8.2 ratio for 230vac RMS?

    help with IR2110 chips

MR Bertus also delta prime said something about the caps not depleting due to short because of the flux in the core, so say I have my 55vac of which only 39vac is mainly used and I want rms 240vac what will be the transformer ratio please?
  16. Maglatron

    help with IR2110 chips

oh I see and is that the 156 rms? and peak still 230v please
  17. Maglatron

    help with IR2110 chips

    so 39 * 4.2 equals 156vac 156 * 0.707 give 110vac correct? or not
  18. Maglatron

    help with IR2110 chips

ok then would the 1:4.2 step up transformer still produce 230vac?
  19. Maglatron

    help with IR2110 chips

also I just remembered that the reason I'm using sqaure wave input is because it cuts out rms
  20. Maglatron

    help with IR2110 chips

I dont get it if I'm using 55vdc and inverting it then the out put should be 55vac multiplying by the transformer ratio 1:4.2 gives 230vac
