    Power suppy dilemma

Well, what LEDs are they? Got a link to them?. Are they 5V 2.1A each??. Or is amp draw total of four?. Wiring in series, the voltage required is higher. in parallel, the current is higher. So you’ll need 20V for four in series!. Two in series and parallel them, then 10V is required. But without...

    Power suppy dilemma

What LEDs are they? They are surely COB or LED board?. But, whatever the wiring system used, the voltage and amperage is what it is and you’ll need a power supply suitable for the project. Martin

    Where to begin

Do you have any electronics experience?. It amazes me that people believe a small item must be easier to fix. Do you have any electrical experience at all?. Martin

    Mains quick testers.

I probably didn’t explain myself. I don’t need to create a fault condition, just test and inspect ready for hire. I use Martindale, Robin and Fluke mains testers along with multimeters. But building site (110V) transformers and petrol generators throw a fault. Obviously, one being isolated...

    Mains quick testers.

Hi guys/gals, I recently started a new job testing hire tools. 110V and 240v. In my past, I used Martindale socket testers etc. But they obviously throw a fault condition on generators and yellow brick step down/ up transformers. I have all the appropriate test equipment but wondered if a...

    Audi cluster repair

Yes, I’m pretty sure it was high resistance value. And micro Amps too. I used red and green LEDs barely visible in daylight. Martin

lg tv backlight is working weird

55’? Surely you mean 55”?. It sounds like a thermal issue. Check for dry/cracked solder joints. Check the electrolytics too while you have it open. Martin

    Audi cluster repair

@Kiwi made some good points. I did similar in my son’s car. Looked great in daylight but was too bright at night. So a range of LED colours and trying lots of different resistor values, we eventually found a ‘sweet’ spot that matched the rest of the cars illumination. Martin

CIRCUIT BOARD FOR BLUETOOTH SPEAKER THAT INCLUDES LED DISPLAY OUTPUT

You won’t find a replacement with the LEDs unless you get an original board. But you can replace the whole board for a Bluetooth amplifier and add another sound to light board. But it’s a lot of soldering. Martin
