    ElectronicsPoint Facebook Group!

I think it's a good idea but I wouldn't want it to be a substitute for this site. However it would be good if people have posted a picture of themselves on Facebook. It's nice to see a face. It seems so alien sometimes on here because of that. Adam

    Diode identification help

Hi Steve, it's really blurry and I cant see it. Two things, take a close up of the PCB and the other diodes when you have time and also any part numbers on the PCB and the model number of the power supply will help. Adam

    LED strips help required

Hi Lee. Board arrived this morning and I managed to put something together that might work. See link to video below and the code which runs on an Arduino Nano. It's in black and white because the LED I had was blue. Hopefully it gives you a rough idea. Part of the code is in the example code...

    Coil problems...

Hi Fred. Welcome to E.P. I thought Florist wire was aluminium is it is it won't be suitable for winding coils. However the resistance would indicate you have not scraped the coating off properly or the multi meter is not set up correctly. Adam

    LED strips help required

Ok so I thinking to get you going I would write some software for you and base it on an Arduino board. the reason is that you can then make some changes of your own with some guidance and all you will need is a little Arduino PCB and PC. The development environment is free and you program it via...

Clean square waves using a 555 timer?

Yes correct Chris. I just wanted to see what effect the bread board had, I should have said no power. And correct again the calibration output will not have been damaged by this action. Adam
