    #226 is without jumpers in the IC socket? What are the diode voltages in this case? Need to use jumpers in the IC socket and re-measure as well.

    "Avg. Forward Voltage Drop 28V" That is high compared to VF =9V(max) of the T3509 and 10V of the the T3512 I wouldn't replace it with that. Here is the T3512 for 0.99$ ,use it.

    The fuzz is of no importance remove/cut it . The bare wire(s) are shield/GND. So,How many insulated wires are you left with, one red and one white ?

    With everything in it's place. Please check the AC voltage on the resistors with/without a short in the IC sockets. and at the same time the DC voltage on pins 1 and 2 of the opto-Triacks MOC3020. A total of 4 AC readings and 4 DC readings. See pic below

It has a higher voltage breakdown which is fine and a bit higher forward voltage drop which is less fine, but should be O.K. see the datasheet here I think it should be possible to get the diode one you have from a Sharp service center near you.     Well a 12V car Solenoid is not what you need(it needs 12V to operate). You need a solid-state relay (SSR) What is it you actually need to switch (voltage range and Max. current)?

    "I want to make my own sort of mosfet"... Well if you can do that ,there is nothing stopping you from making your own space-shuttle ;) A 200A circuit is never easy...in fact it is also extremely dangerous! So, in plain words you wont to build a 4.5V/200A DC controllable switch?

    While the TRiacs are pulled out,the correct reading is 107V on both diodes with the short wire in and no voltage with it out. Your marking in red is not correct , you marked a short(red)between legs 2 and 3. The blue one is between legs1 and 2 and the blue circles are the lifted resistors legs...

    In general the BTA08 isn't a replacement for the BTA12. What is the full writing on the Triacs you pulled out? So,You did the tests with one side of the resistors lifted from the board. In that situation(resistor leg pulled-up and Triacs pulled out). What voltages do you get with the Triacs...
