    Cicuit board design

You have (almost) all the information in that very statement..... 1. Solar cell - find one that you think suits (is size important? - giggidy) 2. 18650 - in series or in parallel? 3. booster - otherwise known as a 'buck' (step-down if using 2 x 18650 in series) or 'boost' (step-up if using 2...

Hi, have anyebody had trouble building the ELENCO 108 AM/FM RADIO KIT

Show a (clear) picture of the assembled board.

    Adapting power output

It'll charge all 3.7V lithiums but only at a certain charge-rate - in your case 500mA. Larger capacity batteries will (obviously) take longer to charge using that charger.

Simple LCD - help needed plz

What makes you think this is the case? Are you 'embarrassed' by the make/model? I'm perplexed as to why you are reluctant to divulge! If the LCD has specific segments and/or indicators then you certainly won't find a generic alternative.

Hi, have anyebody had trouble building the ELENCO 108 AM/FM RADIO KIT

The LM386 isn't a static sensitive device and you'd have to really butcher your soldering to overheat it. Assuming you soldered it in the correct orientation it is probably ok.

    Over heated technics sa-g90

 Some components, and the way they are designed/operated, simply dissipate heat..... providing that heat is within the design parameters of the equipment - which you STILL haven't revealed - then it's not a problem. It's 'inefficient'..... but that's about it. You 'may' have an...

    Adapting power output

The diode forward voltage drop multiplied by the current draw will reveal the power dissipated. So approximately 0.6 x ((4 x 0.15)+.1) = 0.42 (under 1/2 watt power loss). This will be the same as using a resistor (near enough) but the alternative would be to fit a buck converter (electronic...

Hi, have anyebody had trouble building the ELENCO 108 AM/FM RADIO KIT

Schematic? Usually, with these self-build kits, it's nearly always a mistake with assembly. Double-check everything.

same question though........ so far unanswered!

    Adapting power output

The fans and pump will probably work ok at the slightly higher voltage of 3.7V over their rated 3V but if you want to be safe and sure then fit a diode (1N5407) in series with the battery output. It will drop somewhere between 0.6 and 0.7V across it, leaving 3V (near enough) to the fans etc.

    D-PROTECTION for my LG om7550d

Without my usual crystal ball.... 1. what is an LG om7550d? 2. what is D-PROTECTION? When requesting information it is polite (and good practise) to at least post a link to the equipment, a (potential) user manual/schematic and as much detail as may be required to FULLY EXPLAIN the problems...

Simple LCD - help needed plz

 Without a full explanation of the mutiplexing techniques used for the various types of LCD that exist - and your understanding of them - further information would be potentially fruitless in your search for an answer. You might be, but the actualities are rather different..... You...

Simple LCD - help needed plz

You can get custom-made LCD's but they aren't cheap, certainly not as one-off items. If the unit is that important to you then seek a replacement via the usual auction sites otherwise be prepared to junk it.

    Cicuit board design

Just a point of note - what you are requesting (i.e. for 'us' to do the design work) would usually cost upwards of £75-£150/hour from professional services. This is not something that the forum is meant for although there may be some willing members prepared to do this for you - they may even...

    Starter Equipment

There are many second-user speccy analysers on the market but they are inevitably coveted pieces of equipment and can still command high prices - nothing like the $10,000 you quote though! When you talk of 'ham' radio it can encompass anything from LF to SHF and will be reflected in the price...
