    Mechanical Counter - Debounce

Assuming your reed-switch spec (at full-load =0.4A) is better than 1.6million makes-breaks,using it to switch the counter directly is possible(at 0.15A the number will be higher) You can omit the Tr. and use the reed switch directly :

    Mechanical Counter - Debounce

May I ask: 1.What is the purpose of "5W reed-switch" in respect to your circuit? 2.What is the "160 ohm counter"? Is it an electro-mechanical device?

    series parallel RC circuit help

Ratch, "Hopelessly Pedantic" ? To the point of being deaf ,but always needs to have the last word? This indeed hopeless... I'm out of here, never to return!

    series parallel RC circuit help

To emphasize my point, put some inductors in the circuit By your method you need to add some "magnetic energy" terms  While mine stays exactly the same. I rest my case...;)

    series parallel RC circuit help

Guys, This thread has "spilled so many words". "Much Ado About Nothing...(almost)" .;) or put in layman's therms: What happened to the K.I.S.S. method?

Tek 2235 Good Focus but High Intensity

DB20Bogen, You should use the Tek 549 to debug the 2235. Forgot to ask: Any effect of A or B intensity knobs? (I assume none, just making sure). Look at the attached pics You should check the waveforms with 549 Probe GND to chassis of 2235. Warning : HV presnt in the area ! 1.Check waveform 48...

    series parallel RC circuit help

Laplace, There is a reason this web site is called "Electronicspoint" and not "Physicspoint".;) My 2 cents: Leave those "Sears & Zemansky"and other Physics text books on the shelf , and move on to the Electronics ones... The classic used to be "Basic Circuit Theory" by Desoer and...

Short/open detection with optocoupler in a h bridge with arduino?

You can place a "current sensing device" in the bridge like shown (Q2 and Q4 as in your drawings). Not directly over the electrodes, but related to GND. If the current is low in normal operation a small resistor can do the work. It will produce a PWM voltage signal with the "On" period...

    series parallel RC circuit help

Martin, It is not the physics you need to understand. It is the mathematical behavior of the model of an electronic(electrical)device. In this case the intuitive understanding of beginners should be this: 1. We are talking here of a DC Circuit. 2. Hence at steady-state(t-->infinity after the...

    series parallel RC circuit help

The wording of the question is not correct. Instead of "fully charged" it should be in "steady state(DC)", or better yet "t(time after switch is closed) --> infinity"

Bose amplus 100 amplifier weird noises

Pin 4 and Pin 8 should measure +/- 12V DC (with power on). If it is zero, you found a meaningful problem. Trace those lines they should get to a regulator(s).

Ed, Those resistors are related to focus. The intensity issue is totally different! It is at pin number 3 of the CRT. DB20Bogen, Please respond to my previous reply ( #2).
