Psychic amplification apparatus - calculating inductance??

Ross, If the above statement is accurate, I'm sorry to let you know that your chances of building a working amp. like this are absolutely zero! Worst than that, this kind of amp (RF-reciever),would fail many who don't have practical RF skills...:( Besides, you need equipment that you most...

How do I figure out these resistors?

Taking that circuit as a theoretical drill only. Correction: For the relay to be on, we need the Tr. in saturation. (deep saturation that is ,not just on the verge of it) The Beta we need is the minimum one (take into account temp,IC current, etc.) for TIP41C,Beta would be 15. BTW, this Tr...

Glad to be of help, Reminds me of the days I did some assembly language code for the Intel 808x and 8018x for hardware debugging,I sure don't miss those days... BTW, If you find out how the Bandit cheats(and it does) that would be interesting stuff ...

    Replacement Capacitor

Guy, Just for general knowledge: The Spark Suppressor Cap is the big metal one you still have in the mixer (connected in parallel to the resistor and the centrifugal switch). The double cap you took out is for RFI/EMI noise suppression on the input AC lines. Enjoy the meals as before...and...

    Replacement Capacitor

Guy, 1.It is a mixer not a food processor ;) 2.the cap is definitely an RFI filter cap ,the Mixer should work without it. 3.The Mixer is fed by only 2 ac line wires (L,N) 4.I see 4 wires going to the motor,is this correct? 5.look at the new pic ,please fill the green (?)

    Replacement Capacitor

Obviously, that was just an example of " multi-caps". Guy's capacitor are not of motor caps(values too small)! They are for RFI suppression ! Look at BS 613 "title". So, If there aren't any other defective parts in the food processor it should work with the "caps out of board" as is. May cause...

Portable USB phone Charger Design Help

The 5V USB adapters for phone charging are dirt cheap-that is the way to go , not build your own. A_Dude has very little experience if at all, experimenting on a his phone isn't the way to learn... unless he seeks a budget hole. a word of caution is a must here... Can you be sure what he...
