Newbie: Help wiring 7 segment display

Hello I don't quite understand the diagram at the bottom of the datasheet, it looks like they have the polarity around the wrong way. But from what you have said you have down it correctly. What I did notice is above the picture of the segment it shows some jumpers that look like they need to be...

I dont care if your the new guy or how much you know. I couldnt give a shit. I asked you some questions and you then you insulted me. My input to this thread was to make sure the OP had the circuit he needed and it worked. Dont flame me for asking questions, its what its all about. Adam

    Shoot timer circuit

Drifter Don't take offence, please, sometimes people are lazy on here and can't be bothered to type things properly. It's not a problem if you have trouble typing, but if you had mentioned it at the start then we would have known. Now we do, we won't mention it any more. But you might get a few...

    Driver circuit

Thank-you for the explanation, but you still didn't answer my questions. If you are going to supply a circuit for a beginner then it really needs to work for him. The OP doesn't have an A.C signal only an output from a 555 timer. He may not be able to modify your circuit to do what he wants. It...

    N Channel Mosfets

Ok I have started on a few bits. Using an example for a secondary coil construction to show the required voltage needed. You can see it's not a trivial thing. At the bottom of the calculations it shows the voltage required (19.8 KV) to produce over 300 KV with a VSWR of 20. I need to next break...

Hello Thanks for not answering my questions :) Adam

    Driver circuit

Hello The OP only has a max 5 Volt output, will your circuit still work? The OP wanted +/- 24 Volts output, will this circuit do that? How does changing the zener diodes help if he wants +/- 24 Volts on the output. Thanks Adam

    PCB panelization

Your PCB supplier should be able to do this for you, just ask them to leave them in the panel. You would normally specify the layout like 5 by 2 or 3 by 4. You might be able to do it in Dip Trace or a free Gerber software. @Supercap2F might know. Adam

You can buy small AC/DC units that take mains in and give 12 Volts out. Like these: http://www.deltaww.com/Products/CategoryListT1.aspx?CID=0102&hl=en-US

    N Channel Mosfets

I think we are looking at a complete re-think on the electronics. With such a small primary coil compared to the secondary we are going to need to increase the voltage and current that's applied across the primary coil. As you know you would usually use a spark gap and charge a capacitor up to...

    LED conversion

Can you see an issue with the voltages, this won't work. You will need a transformer of some kind. Adam

    N Channel Mosfets

Ok I am still working on it, going to take me a while to put something together. But you need to look at getting the transmitter to resonate to get the voltage up. A series tuned circuit will be the best for this. Adam

What voltage is the fan? What voltage are you going to be using?
