Using an Arduino to read Honeywell ASDXRRX100PD2A5 I2C Pressure Sensor

Have you tried using another sensor to eliminate it as a potentially faulty device?

    One for the New Year

I enjoy watching Youtube videos by The Tech Guy (he repairs hi-end test equipment) and have always admired his variable AC power supply that he often uses to power up equipment that have PSU problems. He did a video showing the innards of this variable AC power supply and despite its relative...

    LED for electric heater (UK)

Wire a neon across the thermostat. It will be out when the heater is on -shorted by the thermostat contacts (but the rocker switch neon will be on then anyway) and 'lit' when the thermostat is open circuit.

You tell us! What have you currently got? What do you want it to do?

    LED for electric heater (UK)

Back to the original post........ Is the heater on a standard flex and 13A plug? Is it 'portable' or fixed? A fixed heater should be wired to a fused, switched connection, ostensibly one fitted with a neon power indicator anyway. A portable heater will simply plug into any wall socket and...

Why does a dc motor "stutter"

How many wires come from the motor? If it's more than 2 then it's as @Minder suggests, a stepper motor. If there are only two - and some printers use normal motors mounted with slotted opto-couplers - then the motor could just be stalling under load and may require reduction gearing to...

    LED for electric heater (UK)

You also need a reverse-biasing diode wired across the LED.

    5v Voltage Regulator Help

Note that the greater the load the more the regulator will dissipate and a heatsink will be required in most circumstances.

    5v Voltage Regulator Help

...it won't do this all the time though. The charging current will vary over the charge cycle. If you want to test your PSU then deliberately load the output using a known value load - a 5Ω resistor will cause 1A to be drawn. The resistor will need to be suitably rated though (5W minimum).

    5v Voltage Regulator Help

You can't 'push' current into a load - it will 'draw' only what it needs and no more. You can fit an additional resistor across the output to deliberately increase the draw but.....why?

    Project idea

High/low temperature alarm, high/low voltage alarm? In fact any 'alarm' where a difference can be measured - using the op-amp as a comparator.

    LED for electric heater (UK)

I'd be interested to see the actual wiring in the OP's heater..... pics please!

    LED for electric heater (UK)

Sounds like the switch is wired AFTER the thermostat to me - the switch being a simple neon-lit on/off rocker. In which case what you plan won't work.

Accurate temperature control for water heater.

Modulating the heater shouldn't be necessary given the latency of the liquid you're heating but consider having a circulation system to thoroughly 'mix' the liquid being heated. Either way there are numerous thermostats (electronic) that can manage the control process - they usually (but not...

Modular Controller build with Arduino (Teensy 3.5)

I2C is a protocol enabled in software and/or hardware and as such available as a 'sketch' for the Arduino range of processors - the Arduino range having the hardware built-in. The ATtiny20 is the smallest (I think) with I2C built-in...

Modular Controller build with Arduino (Teensy 3.5)

The 'proper' way to do this would be to use a proprietary communications bus - like I2C or RS485 or even NMEA!! - and develop individual controllers (gamepads etc) that output to that bus. With simple I2C comms protocols being possible in some of the smallest PIC-type microcontrollers there's...

    Hartung amplifier project

Not quite 100 years but I get your drift! There is still a very active 'tube' amplifier community - those that like the 'warm' sound that tubes (valves) are purported to deliver...

    usb charge cable

Does your TV have a USB socket? Many do and the antenna you bought seems to be designed for such. The alternative is to purchase any old USB charger power pack and use that.

    30pin samsung tab2 7 inch p3100 charging port problem

We really need to see a picture to establish the problem. It could be that the tracks have actually come away from the board (still stuck to the pins) - a common problem if the plug and/or socket doesn't have decent physical/mechanical connection to the circuit board.

Check the voltage polarity on the plug (it should be ok) and that it fits the socket - otherwise yes, it will work.
